Nice images Brendan. As for the colour it looks OK to me but we all expect something different when it comes to colour. It is the one truely subjective item in astrophotography. It's a little hard to get close and take a real look to see what it is. All I can suggest is you process to what you yourself are happy with, get a neutral grey backgound, then ignore comments on colour.
