The filter I am referring to is the one that sits directly over the sensor. I have nto removed it and wonder if this will make a difference to my shots. It only just occurred to me to try this.

G'day Paul - no I never removed that filter. I didn't know about it for a long time, and now I've given my ToUcam away so I can't try it...
