Well the real connection here is pretty obvious (to me anyway). To the Greeks (within the Olympian deities at least) and Romans, Apollo was the god of light and of
the Sun (among other roles).
Apaulo (a corruption of Apollo) is obviously the actual Greek god Apollo incognito and among us and has been recognised as such by the server somehow using his photograph as a substitute for the Sun.
Makes sense to me ...
