Liz, when looking for Faint Fuzzies most of the time you can use High mag on thes galaxies as I am only looking for any New Stars and not the Pretty Pictures
Jupiter took a long time to get to any hight for me to observe it but the seeing was Absolute Crap
Watched the Red Spot coming into View but saw no markings where the SEB was
Saw quite a bit of detail in the NEB in moments of just above mediocre Viewing.
Gave it away at 04:40 as there was 25kmh winds buffeting me and the scope a bit so it was difficult to keep Jupiter in the eyepiece.
Still BEST of all it was "DRY".
Will try again tonight weather permitting

I also had a good go at seeing Pluto, I will be observing it over the next few nights to see if I have actually seen it.
