My usual RCOS rig was used to capture the data, fitted with an Astro-Physics/ Baader FFC it runs at about 5600mm Focal length....
The AOL makes life quite a bit easier at these extreme FL's in capturing round stars, but average suburban seeing still meant I had to throw away a lot of data. The Baader unit also induces some off axis distortion, hence some cropping was required.
I personally think the results could be better...but it seems mother nature is doing her best this year to only provide very limited imaging opportunities!
