Well, AP is not the be all and end all for me. In fact I actually prefer wide field stuff with slr lenses than the narrow field of view of a sct. I prefer the EQ mount for visual than a fork mount as well - photography aside even. The fork mount setup is such a bugger to put in the car - even though the EQ mount is heavy at least it retracts/folds up easily.
