Its a con, and brilliant marketing. Yesterday, Quicktime was the 1st proud app I have that actually hard-reset my PC, no other MS app has done that, ever. And itunes is easily the most non-intuative app I have ever used. Having said that, my Iphone is great, I love it.
Apple lives on PR and spin, good luck to them and their shareholders, in the end thats what counts, share price and profit, top work.
