Backyard sniper warfare

With his high-tech arsenal of glass, steel and plastic, the hunter creeps low upon his wily and alert prey. Pausing between each transition from standing to squatting, crouching, prone position and incrementally creeping forward on poised elbows, he inches toward his victim. As he squints through his scope, sweat beading on his brow, the eye of this creature staring back seems massive. Sun comes out, the hunter freezes instantly as the massive wind sails brandished by the creature are flattened, in readiness for explosive propulsion away from danger. Deathly silence. Broken only by a fly whizzing past - unaware of the tension between these two foes. A tiny puff of wind flickers the stalks once, then is still. The hunter carefully leans in for the final blow. He takes a moment to compose his breathing. Finger poised, spring-loaded, but gentle on the button. Aim....focus...squeeeeeezzzzzzeeeee ....... CLACK!! A perfectly executed clean shot! Mission accomplished, the hunter and prey are enemies no more. The hunter, no longer concerned for stealth, promptly stands, while the butterfly flutters off on it's own aimless mission.
