Made use of newly aquired Televue Telepod last night using my 120mm F/5 refractor . This OTA is fairly hefty but the telepod handled it easily mounted on a tripod that i use a EQ5 mount on , i just had to use a pine block to mount it . Unlike the similar styled mounthead i use 20x80s binoculars on the telepod doesnt need to be adjusted once set for balance , nice fluid movements in both axis its going to be nice to use it for quick setups and general sweeping along with some nature viewing
