indeed the edges are quite messy and i think i might have accidently slightly bumped the camera bulb cable woops (yep, still doing manual timed exposures here on the ol' 30D lol).

I've been looking into flatteners.. I'm still really confused what will actually work on my 110mm refractor. I guess there's only one way to find out. I've read about the WO ones, seems like just the ticket i think..
again a big thanks for looking and advice.. the list of equipment needed never stops!! I guess that's half the allure of this hobby
