Hello fellow IceInSpacers!
I have been inactive on these forums for quite some time. I just wanted to drop in to say hello, and express my appreciation for Mike for launching this site and then having what it took to keep it going and growing.
I have not been doing a lot of astronomy over the past year or so. Not to say I have not done any, but nowadays it's definitely more the exception than the rule to take the scope out and look at the sky. I did have a good look at the Southern Skies (with my eyes, binocks and 10" Dobbie) over the Easter long weekend while camping in the Snowy Mountains - snow grass planes between Mt Tamboritha and Mt Howitt in the Victorian Alps. It was nice to see old friends again!
Hope you are all well. It's hard to see who's who on the forums after having been away so long. Lots of new people here obviously, which is good.
I do have a few astronomical issues to get on top which I might ask your advice about in the near future. Most of them have to do with having almost completely gone from car to push-bike transport... others have to do with people.
