Yeah, I'm a carer on a carers pension. When I got with my GF who happens to have a degenerative spinal disorder (among other things) I had to weigh up weather to give up my 1K a week job, give up my house & accept the governments $600 per fortnight pension, it was a no brainer for me on what to do.
It's a real tough life, this caring let me tell ya, & sometimes I wonder who actually cares for the carers.
I'm not complaining, it was my choice & I don't regret it.
