I didn't see that one but I did see one similar about 4 weeks ago.
The one I saw looked a bit like a firework rocket and it was kind of slow and floating but very bright. It was coming more straight down (lucky it burnt up eh?). It was also fairly early evening about 6:30pm or so.
I have spent many hours under dark skies and that was the first one I have seen. At my dark site it is usual to see about 10 -15 meteors a night. Some are amazingly fast, some seem to float down, some are short and brighter and some are not as bright and much longer. They vary a lot.
One of the nicest was near dawn when I stopped to admire the moon crescent and the lovely sky colours forming and right on cue a beautiful meteorite blazed just near the moon - lovely! Like a movie scene.
