Hi all,
Here's an image of a very thin 30-hour-old crescent Moon taken at about 5:20 this evening. Not the thinnest Moon I've captured, but it did require binoculars to see. This image was taken from the Centenary Bridge with my Pentax K110D and 300mm telephoto.
Unfortunately the forecast for tomorrow evening's close conjunction of the Moon and Venus is not very good...
