Rudd's budget is actually very sensible and I congratulate him for having the nerve to call primary industry profits back into the economy pool; it's kind of a future moral hazard bypass. He must prevent a dual economy from forming, otherwise kids from low income demographics won't stand a chance in 10-20 years time.

Krudds budget isn't sensible. It simply is a response to his own unabated overspending, sending this country into massive debt. Wayne Swan, that prat with the wig combover actually accused the Howard Government of going on "spendathons"..... gee Wayne Swan, Howard didn't blow our nation's cash like you did on crap like unwanted school sports halls and 10 water tanks for a single footy club, insulation which killed people, etc etc, he actually managed our country's finances and delivered a surplus with each budget, hence why he was able to go on "spendathons", which were in the interest of our nation, involving projects such as highways, railways, mines, etc.
