Pictures!!?? Sounds pretty bad if you're not seeing well at such close range. Mine is only apparent at distance. My near vision is more or less perfect, but if I'm in the back row of a classroom, or using an eyepiece with a 7mm exit pupil, forget it. On a whiteboard I find some colours harder to read than others, e.g. green and red give me hell, but black and blue is fine.
