Well thanks guys. Compared to my last capture of mars these are not good, but I had a lot of fun trying! I'm in my element doing this.
Seeing conditions were varying a lot. ranging from 4/10 up to 8/10. The trouble was it was varying every 30 secs so it was hard to work out exactly when to start capturing & when to end capture. I think I ended up with a total of 50 000 frames worth of AVI but deleted most due to the seeing. So I'm gonna blame these yucky shots of mars on seeing conditions directly.
Saturn?? Still too low..
Tonights looking really good, so I may setup big blue for a mars shoot. (the above pics were using the refractor)
