I got home last night from the NAS meeting and decided to have a shot of IC2944. the seeing was a tad soft, with some high cloud drifting through on occasions, and even though i focused and it was spot on the stars and neb looked soft. I think it was a pretty ordinary night
anyway i managed to sneak in 3h and 9 minutes worth of shots so here it is Processed in Pixinsight 1.6 and stacked in DSS
- the raw ugly stacked file
- the histogram slightly stretched to see what i have
- and the very ordinary result. (sorry for the smaller size but it was too large a file size to keep at 1280)
I think i need to do it again on a far better night.
