Mike,
The downside to Gmail is that a lot of forums
won't allow you to set up an account using a free email account such as Gmail, HotMail, Yahoo.
For the record, I have 2 Gmail and 1 Yahoo email accounts. I also have 2 BigPond accounts (1Gb account and 6Gb account).
