I also have the problem of trying to connect an Orion OAG to a QHY CFW.
The problem is that I don't have a shed or any tools and I don't enjoy cutting and adapting pieces of gear.
This leaves me very limited options.
If the M54 -T2 adaptor is going to cause vignetting then it is out.
It is probably easier to stick with the guide scope.
