NGC 2818, Planetary Nebula in Pyxis

This object wa sperfectly placed last night, crossing the meridian not long after dark. Conditions were great, excellent seeing and good transparency. Moon brightened the sky later but I got 2 hours 10 mins in anyway. Only downer was the night wasnt very cold, leading to some thermal noise.

13x10 mins, ISO400, LPS filter. MPCC coma corrector, Hutech modded 350D, 10 inch f5.6 newtonian, off axis hand guided as usual.

Note the Hubble image of it here has similar colour balance http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap090122.html
