Bacon and Eggs anyone?

Ha image of the body of IC2944(Running Chicken nebula). A recent sketching contest saw this object drawn as a Chicken in a few different ways and was even refered to as a flying pig, hence the bacon and eggs.
I imaged 3hrs and 10 minutes of this object in Ha with a Baade4r 7nm Ha filter but managed to loose the last hours worth of images due to a dragging USB cable and some quite strange looking stars.

The image consists of 12 X 10 minute exposures taken with QHY9, Baader 7nm Ha filter and Tak FSQ106ED at f5. I think I needed to instal the reducer for this target.

Dew was my main concern with water dripping off the scopes everywhere and with the RH so high I was very happy with the performance of my dew heaters and the camera. No frost and a set of clear lenses.
