Lagoon and triffid widefield

I forgot to charge my battery, so had to dust off the DSLR (I was not going to waste a perfectly good alignment).

Funnily enough, there are still some stretched stars in the corners despite the use of a dedicated flattener on the FS60.

Also, there are some artifacts in the lagoon - not sure where they came from, everything is clean and I used flats (my new lightbox from exfso), so would appreciate any ideas how they might have shown up.

The attached JPEG was compressed to 30% quality of an 85% reduction of the original. Levels were adjusted in GIMP and no other processing was performed. It is the best 120 of 150 x 30 sec shots with 50 darks, 50 flats and 50 dark flats taken with an unmodded 1000D on an unguided mount at 370mm FL.
