It's possible your hard drive is faulty, it's really common in laptops due to heat. I'd advise you to download the hard drive scanner from your hard drive manufacturers web site and give the drive a full scan for errors or it might just do exactly the same thing again. If you go to device manager it might just tell you what brand your hard drive is. Normally the tester is an iso that you burn to a CD and boot from to test.
