Hi guys.
Just checking in while on holidays!
Spent 9 hours in the car the first day and ended up at Albury Wodonga, where John (xstream) and anna were our hosts with the most. Spent 8 hours in the car the next day and ended up at Warnambool (yesterday) around 2pm, and we're staying at Robin's house for 2 nights (last night and tonight).
Spent yesterday afternoon around Warnambool, and today went for a drive to Port Fairy, the Crags and the wind farm. This afternoon, hoping to make it to Port Campbell and the 12 apostles for a sunset, if the skies clear a bit.
Tomorrow, off on the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay (and stopping at all the touristy sites inbetween) where we stay overnight, then Queenscliffe the night after, followed by 4 nights in Ballarat from Friday onwards!
Having a great time so far, though it's a new experience for our family.. Usually our holidays are drive somewhere and stop.. Driving every day takes its toll, the kids are sick of it and sometimes we're sick of the kids
But we're seeing a part of Australia we've never seen before, some great countryside and some spectacular coast line. And the best is yet to come along the great ocean road!
Hope everyone is doing well, not sure when i'll be able to check in again - will have to go to a net cafe or something! Anyway take it easy and see some of you on friday!
