So, do you just drive scopes etc via a USB port on the lappie/netbook with some sort of adaptor where there isn't a standard old style serial port. Or, does the software these days include facility to drive stuff via a much more common USB port?

oh yes sorry you plug into the usb port my computer has several and it took awhile to get the programe to talk to the computer some firewall issue
