I agree with what's said so far about gettng to know it. Pleiades would not do themselves any harm if they came down from the rafters and explained WHAT "object-oriented approach" meant to the common user, and WHY it was so good in layman's terms. If you're into software design you'd know, but if all you want to do is perform a few basic tasks on an image file, it would be good to know the "why", "what" as well as the "how". Sorry, but just telling us in their intros that "it is better" than a linear workflow and that you'd never go back to standard software after you got to know PixInsight doesn't do much for all of us unless it is really explained in a side by side pros and cons argument.
