I didn't realise how "alive" our planet is until I stood on the rim of a caldera and looked down into the heart of an active volcano. You can hear it, feel it reverberating through your body, it's like a heart beat, a regular choooof choooof BOOM!
We are merely life forms populating a living planet.
"Natural disasters" are all a part of it. They've been occurring since day one.
Where you live determines how many of these you experience.
But with todays technology we experience so many more... vicariously.
There's nothing supernatural to be read into it.
It's all part of the natural processes that allow us to live here.
