All,
I'm heading back to the greatest place in the world -- the South Island of New Zealand for a few weeks on another photographic expedition.
The last time I went, I hired a campervan and slept wherever I wanted to. This time, I'm hiring a 4WD so that I can shake the shackles of campervan restrictions and get off the beaten path, somewhat.
My goal for this trip, weather permitting, is coastal sunrises and sunsets. Failing that, I'll be doing a lot of hiking and walking through rainforests, so, I'm bound to come across my favoured subject of water, as well as capture the essence of autumn.
I hope to return with perhaps one or two decent images.
I thought I'd leave you with a slideshow of a few images. Most likely, you've seen these before in the terrestrial imaging sub-forum.
I've set these to a soundtrack, so, if you have a few minutes, turn on your speakers, or put your headphones on and chill for a bit.
I must apologise for the image quality -- the slideshow creation software has done some funky stuff to the images and I have no idea why. So, sorry about that. Still, they're passable.

This coastline's like a long-lost friend
Giving me grounding once again
Being here with you
There's no place I'd rather be
You know we've touched on something real
With all that's good
You've given to me
You've given to me
And all those fears can keep rolling in
Surrounding beauty keeps me going
And being here with you
Nothing comes close to this
You know this is something real
With all the truth
That you've shown me
So keep me safe
And love me for good
I'm not going anywhere
I'm not going anywhere
Chat soon.
