Rob Mcnaughts animation of 2009DD45 is on the link below and was done on 27th February 2009 prior to closest approach to Earth on March 2nd 2009. The comet used in the article Alex refers to is almost certainly Comet McNaught C/2006P1 (The Great Comet of 2007) in the daytime (there are similar blue sky picks in links below) and not the asteroid 2009 DD45 that the article makes a reference to. Admittedly the caption notes asteroid /or comet at left without noting any designation.
