Looks nice Peter. Currently my only scope is a 6" sct and we really need a heavier sct or refractor to do a good comparison of the mounts. When is your Tak due back? You're welcome to try my Sky Commander if you don't have a 'puter for the 'Rex - I don't see one in the photo's.
While there's a lot to be said for the simplicity of the DM6, the T-Rex slow motion controls would have to make high-mag observing more effortless, providing the controls themselves work smoothly. I can track at high mag with the DM6, but it's not effortless in the same way that a geared equatorial mount is for instance.
