I decided to order the Orion ED80 yesterday, and hope for it's quick arrival at my place.
Along with the scope i also purchased, the rings to suit, the Orion 13" dovetail bar, as the EQ6 has only got the 8" supplied, an Orion shorty+ barlow, Orion mirror diagonal, Televue 8mm & 20mm ep, and a camera adapter and t- ring for the Canon.
Now all i need is the new EQ6 to arrive, a lappy and some guiding software, some clear skies, and about 2 years to work out how to use the mount and software
