Thanks Dennis. I know you've done lots of this sort of thing, so your feedback is appreciated. I played around a lot with curves adjustment in both the background and forground (lunar disk) to try and minimise the light bleeding. I would have liked to enhance the contrast a bit more in the lunar disk, but this creates a dark edge near the terminator which makes the image look very artificial.
