Hmm, flattened fly photography eh?

This particular specimen was very cooperative; it was either tired or sick as I was able to manoeuvre around it to progressively get closer and better shots.

I wasn’t aware of it at the time, but after uploading the images I noticed the milky white sphere being excreted by the fly which on the next shot, appeared as a hemispherical blob on the leaf. I’m assuming it was the fly doing its number two’s!
