ST-4 Problem
Having used the ST-4 on my Astro mount for many years a problem has arisen where, after strings of zero's and one's, the numbers in both RA and Dec every 7 to ten cycles suddenly rise to 5 and 6, and also E for errors. This has persisted over several weeks. I have checked every part of the scope looking for the possible cause of the problem.
So, my question is, could the cause of the problem perhaps be the ST-4, is it possible that the ST-4 could behave in such a manner as it gets old?.
Has anyone any experience with the Orion Solitaire auto guider ?
