Just how truss do you want to go? Reason I asked is I just ripped the components of my solid tube, focuser, spider, mirror and cell, and made the truss design fit them. If you want to just chop your solid tube to make it something like the SkyWatcher collapsibles, then that's something else. I'm guessing that's what you are after.
