EOI _QHY 2 pro-FOR SALE

I bought my Qhy 2 pro from a fellow WSAAG member and IIS er who had used it a couple of times; I have used it about four or maybe five times since.

given the weather, the fact I have no permanent set up and have a QHY8, i just dont think i wil be using this all that much-I have no filter wheel.

I would like to sell it and am looking for $1550 plus postage (not negotiable sorry). Comes with power supply and cables, you can download software from Theos's site.

It is a lot more sensitive in the H alpha then my QHY 8-but I recently changed the focuser on my scope and it no longer comes to focus so I need to invest in new extension tubes etc etc and I cant justify the spend to SWMBO-or for that matter myself since I already have a QHY 8

It has a fair bit of dust -as can be seen in flat fields - but I have got rid of it with flat fields. I never tried to clean it

Please let me know if anyone is interested (PM please)

this is a camera that in the right hands got an APOD so it is pretty good at what it can do-I just havent used it well enough myself.

Its a lot cheaper than a QHY 9 !

I just dont have the time or set up to extract the best out of this camera-plus I have an alternate astro expenditure I am chasing

I will post pix of the camera if any interest but its a QHY2 pro so the image of Theo's website is probably just as good. I got the software off Theo's website and thats what I'd recommend anyone who is interested do as well

here are a few of images taken -actually-the only images I took with this camera

and an ED80

the last two images were with a Lumicon Halpha filter Double stacked with an IR filter so not really represntative of what is possible with this camera (I did not have another 1.25 inch H alpha fllter)

thanks for looking
