G11 or JP-Z ?
Hi,
I need to make a decision until Monday. I have one of the 2 mounts waiting for me...I need to choose!
I only make Astrophotography with my Tak FS102NSV and with my new C9.25. My camera is a QSI532WS and my mount a ATLAS Eqmod one. With this mount and the FS102 I make 30 mins subs without problem, guiding it with a FS60C and a QHY5 via PHD.
So between:
Losmandy G11 Gemini with the Ovision kit installed by Optique et Vision in France (the maker of the kit). PE estimated to be +/- 2 arcsec.
Takahasi JP-Z with no motors or electronics. Then could any motors and electronics from FS2, Boxdorfer,.....
At the end price will be the same.
