Our adsl router showed we were still connected to the internet but our mail and browser connections wouldn't work so I tried pinging websites using their name like
www.google.com.au and I could ping them so DNS was working. But all graphical connections failed the problem was with my provider because after contacting them about the problem it was fixed with no changes on our side I just wondered if any knew what could cause this when I still had connection with ping but no action with browser and email.
