Tawny Frogmouth fact sheet - The Tawny Frogmouth is related to the Owl
- Tawnies are nocturnal hunters
- They prey mainly on ground dwelling invertebrates such as insects and spiders, but will also hunt mice
- During the day, Tawnies camouflage so well that they are nearly invisible in tree branches when they have their eyes closed and their head up
- Tawny Frogmouths are quite common in the forest and open woodland across the whole of the continent
I thought they were an Owl, but no only related.
