Hi Tony,
I am one of the organisers of this event, and even if I wasn't, I'd have to say that you will not be disappointed. I am proud to say that our event has been rated as one of the top 10 astro-camp/parties in the world (BBC Sky at Night) It runs for 10 days, so that means there are 2 weekends. See if you can come to the first weekend, I guarantee you will come to the second.
The camp is for amateur astronomers, but caters for their families as well, so a teenager such as yourself will have no trouble fitting in.
Take some time to read some of the articles on the website (yes I know... I have not done all that much to update the site), you will soon get the gist of the Astrofest. You also might want to have a look at this thread from last year
