The proof is undoubtedly in the pudding too.. Take a look at the images he's produced with the scope.. Amazing stuff... At F/8 its a bit slow for my liking... I'd go for 12" F/5 ~ F/6 I reckon, but then you would definitely need a corrector I think...
In any case, his scope is beautiful, a real work of art and the images it produces are pretty amazing... At A LOT less cost than any commercially available 12" RC's
