The AOL was working at 15 Hz, there's a really nice bright star in the FOV of the OAG (as long as it's rotated about 90 deg from where it normally sits).

Yes, H, I didn't know there was that much in the area, there is probably more as the reference image I was using didn't have the same FOV. The AOL will be great for you, if you're not doing much narrowband you won't need the MOAG, you can always get that later.

Three reasons for the framing Mike, firstly to get a guide star onto the chip. Secondly because I wanted some background sky in the image and of course the old photographer in me still screams "conjunction of thirds" every time I frame an image. This last reason is why my images are typically not centred in the frame.

Now if only I can work out how to "dial in" a new set of cams for my racecar I'll have a great weekend...
