I know how difficult it is to get everything correct for a very good image. As focal length increases the problems go up exponentially.
Keep this up and you may cover the whole region.

Fascinating Bert. So I was midway between the 2, I had no idea. It was
trial and error and I spent an hour trying to find a decent spot to image.
Yuri at TEC does make good optics. He is making a 110mm F5.6 fluorite triplet plus a flattener for me as well but that may be a few months away. No rush. He made a prototype and the testing of the actual lens didn't match the computer simulation so he is reworking it. He maintains a high standard like Roland Christen of AP.

It's been fascinating watching Greg and Bert working this part of the sky to the max and approaching it from opposite ends of the astro imaging spectrum - thank you both.
Oh and Greg your old FSQ is working a treat, when the weather permits. I haven't done much with it in the past 12 months but am hoping to turn that around from April and get back in to some star parties and SASI nights - stay tuned

Thanks Wayne. It does have some blue in it but on my monitor it seems fine. That is the O111 areas.
