We live in Roma Yes and I am sick of the rain as well and forcast is more rain on the way. I wont be claiming any insurance as the only thing we lost was the clothes dryer about 400 worth and our premiums will probably go up a bit so we will just go buy one.

Yes we were very lucky thanks for the wishes. We fared very well compared to neighbors.

Fortunately I dont pay rates directly but I suppose the landlord (TAFE) will put up the rent to compensate.
As we hadnt been affected very much we have been the refuge for those who cannot go home and no family around to rely on. Our house as been like a boarding house the last few nights and we have met some of the neighbors for the first time.
