Thanks H. Sorry I didn't see the link earlier.

I used this link and average 1.3 Mbps Download and 0.22 Mbps Upload. This sound like ADSL1. Would anyone agree?

The letter I was referring to states that my plan (Liberty) will be called Liberty Elite, and that I may notice faster speeds in the coming months. Well the Liberty Elite plans are for ADSL2 whereas I am still on ADSL1. Knowing Telstra/BP I expect I'll be on ADSL1 for years to come. Absolutely useless organistion. I have been through the TIO (Telecommunications Industry Ombudman) 3 times in 16 months about serious billing errors and false promises (even one woman in a call centre calling me a liar - he exact words "You're lying, Sir,"!!!

It wasn't until I raised these issues with the TIO that I received immediate action from Bigpond. They couldn't do enough for me, even offering hundreds of dollars worth of credits on each occasion.

You need to jump up and down pretty hard but they eventually listen.
