The SES are stating that the flood peak is expected this afternoon around 4pm and is expected to be 8.2-8.3 meters. In the sixties the creek peaked at 7.8 meters and the Creek was 7 - 8 kilometers wide
so this flood may break all records for us yet!!!!!!!!!!!!
There as been forced evacuations of people who didnt want to leave their houses, I have been trying to get SES to evacuate an older couple from across the road from me (92 and 88) who have refused to leave their lowset house, but they cant get into the area yet.
