Those globules are immaculate!

Been checking out your site as of late but hadn't seen any updates -- I'm most glad to see these and to know you're still alive and kickin' and doin' what you do best.

Thanks Humayun. Yes, the Globules turned out ok, but I struggled to match the Ha data to RGB on this one. The IC2944 data was acquired back in Feb 2009, but I forgot about it until recently. Thanks for your comments.

Like your rich colours on all and the depth, image scale and fov is perfect with the scope/ combo from Lightbuckets.

I imaged Thackerays Boks a couple of weeks or so ago and my seeing was rubbish. I missed a few of the globules due to smearing from GSC8976:5393, the transparency was horrible.
So nice to see a sharp rendition as this.

Especially liked IC 2220, just lovely to look at.

Thanks for sharing your efforts

Cheers Rich. Great to see you round the traps again too. Not often our virtual online paths cross. Yes, the Lightbuckets scopes do deliver the goods. Zenith crossing are the key to quality data if you have a chance at all when operating at these focal lengths as others will testify. Alas, sometimes it just doesn't come together. A gamble. The FSQ/U16M isn't collecting dust however, will be sure to show something from this combo soon. Hope to check out your Thackeray's image soon. Thanks for your comments.

Three lovely images, really liked the TJ nebula rarely imaged but a delight.

Thanks Mike. Yes a cyclone. As fast as I enter, as fast as I leave. Will try hang around for a while pending work travel commitments. Yes, the TJ is a fave, been on my list for sometime but requires reasonable FL and aperture to bring it out in all its glory. Cheers!
