For imaging in a DOB is hard, well tested camera in the Philips TuCam series and SNC900. They aren't current models so will be a it difficult to get not so much now but longer in the future.

What else needed is a Mogg Adaptor which will give you prime focus AVI.

Now the bad news. DOB's are not primarily used for imaging for a couple of reasons, one is no tracking which is why I am limited to moon imaging and Jupiter ATM.
Finally and the one that can really swing it is the focal runnout. I believe on mine I am very lucky, I have only 1mm of focus travel left before I runnout and not acheive focus. Again I am lucky as I have collapsable DOB where I can collapse the DOB ever so slightly to get better focus travel.

Depending on how things go I may invest in a low profile focuer to give me plenty of range but from a standard DOB you may get unexpected results.

For me it is fun of trying and achieving with end results providing a sense of satisfaction.
