No Mate it's all USB 2.0. I did another fresh instal and plugged the usb in when I made changes. It all worked well until one of the windows updates took it out. I have other usb storage thumb drives which work properly so I will leave it. It just seems to dislike this one stick. The TV reciever is working and does not turn off any more as I tried Robins solution and it worked
